What a Brilliant Plan
God has Designed
for the Last Generation!

The name of this website, Little Book Open, comes from Revelation 10, verse 2.

“And he (the Mighty Angel) had in his hand a little book open:
and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth . . .” explores the purpose of the book Jesus the Lamb receives from the Heavenly Father (Rev 5:1, 6, 7); —the significance of unsealing the scroll (Rev 6:1); —the reason for drawing attention to the smaller portion of the open book which is seen in the Mighty Angel’s hand (Rev 10:2); —and the explanation of the seven thunders (Rev 10:4), —which seem to be “sealed up,” —BUT are in fact— “unsealed(Rev 6:1) for . . .

a specific time,

a specific purpose,

a specific generation.

(Matt 23:36; 24;33, 34; 25:10; Daniel 8:13, 14; 8:17; 11:35; 12:1; 12:6, 7; 12:9; 12:13.)

There is NOTHING more important for the last generation to know
than the Messages of the seven thunders!!!

Because the seven thunders reveal the plan of Redemption!
They reveal in a very special way the character of Christ
and His closing work in the Heavenly Sanctuary
more fully than for any other generation!

The seven thunders are heard from the reading of a little book.
It is a book of fulfilled prophecy, —foretelling last-day events.
It is a book of repeated prophecies, a book of type showing antitype
when fulfilled prophetic history is specifically repeated as last-day events!
And yet, it is called the Lamb’s book of life!
Rev 3:5; 13:8; 21:27

Those of the last generation who have the proper understanding of fulfilled prophetic history will be guided through the repeated last-day
of the little book of Daniel, including the complete fulfillment
of the last event of the seven thunders, the last great Day of Atonement.*

~ The last generation is now on the scene and
the thundering last-day events are about to begin!

  Are we following Jesus—

—into the knowledge HE is giving us from
the open little book of the seven thundering events?

The Sealed Book       The book is first seen in the Father’s right hand at a point in time after the book’s contents had been “written within and on the backside, and sealed with seven seals.” (Rev 5:1; FS1) While in vision, John heard a strong angel ask the greatest question the universe has ever heard, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?” (Rev 5:2) All of heaven stood in silence before the throne of the Father as John witnessed that no one is found who is worthy to unseal, open, and read the contents of the book. (Rev 5:3-4) John cried out in agony of soul, for he well knew that this book was more than a history of fallen sinful man to be produced in the judgment. (Dan 7:9, 10, 22, 26; Rev 22:10, 11; 1Peter 4:17)  John wept (Rev 5:4) because he understood that written within its pages is the Father’s plan to save the human race which had fallen into sin. All of Heaven would be involved (Rev 5:11) in giving the Plan of Salvation, not only to the generations of all ages, but more specifically to the last generation who live during the sounding of the seven thunders and the reading of the little book. (Rev 10:3, 4.) There is only One who is worthy to take the book from the Father, —the Lamb of God. (John 1:29, 36) And the angel said to John, “Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” (Rev 5:5) John turns to see “a Lamb as it had been slain,” who is worthy to take the book from the Father. (Rev 5:6-7) It is only by the sacrifice of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, —accepted by the Father, that Salvation is offered to our sinful race. (Rev 5:9-10) Only by the blood of Jesus Christ can the seals of this book be unsealed. (Rev 1:5-6; 5:9; 12:11; 6:1; FS2.) Only by His blood can the book be opened, read, and the final judgment set up. (Rev 11:1, 2; 14:7; Dan 7:10, 22, 26; FS3) Only by accepting the blood of His sacrifice for our sins are we saved and our names written into the Lamb’s book of life. (1Tim 2:3-6; Rev 3:5; 20:12; 21:27)
Jesus --the Mighty Angel       I believe the “mighty angel” —Jesus, is showing us that the time has come for the little book to be opened and for the seven thunders to be known, —that is the reason for this website. I believe that the seven thunders are seven events which will have their fulfillment in the near future, showing the Righteousness of Christ as did the thunder at Mt. Sinai. All eyes will be on Jesus in the Heavenly Sanctuary as He, through his saints here on earth, prepares the last generation of earth to stand in the last great Day of Atonement and be saved. These seven future prophetic events are based on a specific line of fulfilled prophetic history in the Old Testament, which would mean that prophetic history will be repeated. I also believe that both the past and the future fulfillment of these seven events are nestled in time, one symbolic and the other literal, and that they point to Christ as the Creator–Lawgiver, worthy of all worship. These future seven events will have a specific relationship in the giving of the three angel’s messages (with the power of the fourth) in two parts: 1) the judgment of the living; and 2) the judgment of the whore (the false church) and the beast (nation) she rides upon (Babylon). Babylon the Great is an illicit relationship of a world-wide church and state.
But there is a true church which gets her power only from the throne in the Heavenly Sanctuary. The church who is teaching the correct prophetic history will be the church who can rightfully teach the same prophecies repeated in the near future. This church will be teaching the completing work of cleansing the Heavenly Sanctuary of the saints’ sin; they will keep and teach all the commandments of God; and they will have the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophecy to guide the last generation of living saints upon earth through the most hellish times the history of this world has ever seen.
Judgment       We are now living in the time when this little book is to be re-opened; when we will “prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” (Rev. 10:11) Prepare, prepare, prepare for the judgment of God is upon us; —the books are about to be opened. (Rev. 20:12)

So Many Questions:
  • What is this sealed book in the Father’s hand? (Rev. 5:1)
  • What are the seven seals? Do they have a fulfillment in the past or are they yet future? (Rev. 6:1)
  • What are the seven trumpets? Are they past or future? (Rev. 8:6)
  • What does the little book have to do with the seven churches? (Rev. 2 and 3)
  • Why is there so much Old Testament sanctuary imagery used in the book of Revelation? (Rev. 1:12; 5:6; 6:9; 8:3, 4; 11:1; etc.)
  • Who is the mighty angel of Revelation 10 who is seen holding the open book? (Rev. 10:1, 2)
  • When the book is read, why does it sound like seven thunders? (Rev. 10:3)
  • Why was John told to seal up the seven thunders? Could it be that they are already written? If so, where? (Rev. 10:4; Dan. 12:4, 9, 13)
  • What do the seven thunders of this little book have to do with creation, “time” , “the mystery of God,” and “his servants the prophets.” (Rev. 10:6-7)
  • Why is John asked not to write the seven thunders down, —but it is OK for him to eat them? (Rev. 10:8-10)
  • What does this little book of seven thunders have to do with prophecy being repeated (again)? (Rev. 10:11)
  • What will begin when the seven thunders have their fulfillment? (Rev. 11:1, 2)
  • What are the two witnesses, the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks which “prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.” (Rev. 11:3, 4)
It is our goal, with the blessing of our Heavenly Father, to show the meaning and relationship of prophetic history to the seven thunders of Revelation 10. The following in-depth studies will have in them the Scriptural evidence which will show that past fulfilled prophecy is designed to reveal the last-day events in detail. I invite you to lay aside preconceived ideas, and experience a study which I pray, by the Grace and Guidance of Heaven, will bless you.

Before there is thunder—
there is great Light!

In this last wedge of time, when all seems to be in doubt, people don’t know who to believe and where to turn for the truth, —even doubting their relationship with the Holy Spirit, the Revealer of Truth. But God has put a master plan into action thousands of years ago. What is it? What is the plan that will give truth to the doubting and strength to the weak of the last generation? It is just this: God in His love for the salvation of the human race foretold the future and called it prophecy, and asked the prophets to write it down. The prophets of God down through time have recorded His words, and the prophetic books that get the most attention are Daniel and Revelation. As the centuries unrolled, the prophecies were fulfilled right down to our very day, and the faith of every generation was made sure by the fulfilled promises of prophecy. And now the last part of the prophetic plan will soon be put into action by us, the last generation.
Type and Antitype of Prophecy       God calls for the last generation to untiringly study the fulfilled prophecies of the centuries, for they are a pattern, a type of what is to be fulfilled by us in a very short time in the near future. The prophecies are to be repeated in a very marked re-fulfillment, —event for event! Praise God for such a master plan! It not only strengthens our faith in the past and the way in which God led our forefathers, but it builds a firm foundation upon the Rock, Jesus Christ, which we need as the last generation, standing firm through a time of trouble such as the world has never seen!

Are the prophecies that important?
Should we really study and know them?
What do the prophecies have to do with our salvation?

On this website we will endeavor to show the importance of knowing the prophecies of the Bible and how they reflect the perfect character of Christ. The goal of this study is to discover the love of God and His saving grace for the last generation as shown in the seven thunders of Revelation 10! Let us study as we never have before, for we have but only scratched the surface in understanding the plan of salvation for our generation!

What a Brilliant Plan Our God has Designed!

May God Bless—

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
